Grenache lovers worldwide are embracing the second International Grenache Day (IGD) on Friday, September 23, 2011 by logging their celebrations and events onto a google map which acts as an IGD cyber portal.

  • Great to see this news letter page up! Looks great! We've got a new Canadian/Taiwanese Wine Show coming to film the Garnachas de Gredos project, and producers during International Garnacha Day as well as the party we have posted! Great news! Will post more when we can...

  • The Gredos mountains are in Spain by the way, about an hour and a half west of Madrid... it is Old Vine, High Mountain Garnacha, really spectacular wines... very small production, very low yielding, sometimes down to 250 grams per vine ( en vaso )!!
